This Privacy Policy explains how Insyght Health collects, uses, protects, and otherwise handles your information. It has been prepared to serve those who are concerned with how their Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is used. PII is information that can be used on its own, or together with other information, to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand how we handle your information.

What personal information do we collect?

When you order, register, or contact us, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, phone number, or other details to help you with your experience. As part of the Insyght Health membership, we also collect the health information you provide and the biomarker and laboratory results generated through your testing, so that we can produce your health scores, reports, and recommendations.

When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you fill out a form, register or order on our site, use the Insyght Health membership, or otherwise provide information to us.

How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect to operate the Insyght Health membership, to coordinate your laboratory testing, to generate your health scores, reports, and recommendations, to respond to your inquiries, and to follow up with you after correspondence such as email or phone inquiries.

How do we protect your information?

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including regular malware scanning of our systems. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor, and we do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems. Access to your information is limited to personnel and service providers who need it to operate our services, and those service providers are required to keep your information confidential.

How we use AI

Insyght Health uses artificial intelligence to help explain your results in plain language. These features are educational, they are reviewed and approved by a licensed physician, and they do not diagnose you, make clinical or treatment decisions, or replace your relationship with a clinician.

Where we use AI

• Results intelligence. You can open an AI-powered view of your own results and see plain-language explanations of your biomarkers. These explanations are reviewed by a physician and released together with your results; you do not see them before that review. It does not diagnose, treat, or recommend therapy.
• Result narratives. When a finding is surfaced in your report, a generative AI layer helps draft the plain-language explanation of why it was surfaced, under the same safeguards: physician-reviewed, no diagnosis, and no clinical decision-making.
• Health scores and status flags are not AI. Your scores and status flags are produced by fixed, rule-based logic that compares each biomarker against Insyght Health's optimal ranges. This is deterministic and does not use machine learning.
• Educational content support. Our clinical and content team may use an AI assistant to help draft educational material, which a licensed physician reviews and approves before you see it.

What we do not do

• We do not use AI to diagnose you, to prescribe, or to make or automate any decision about your care.
• We do not provide an AI medical device, an AI scribe, or an autonomous or automated clinical decision tool.
• We do not use your information, and we do not permit our service providers to use your information, to train, fine-tune, or build any AI model.

Your information and your rights

• When you use an AI-powered feature, only the minimum information needed from your own account is used, and only to produce your own output. Features that explain lab results use only results that have been released to you.
• A licensed physician reviews and approves the content behind these features, and no decision about your care is made solely by automated tools.
• You always retain access to a licensed physician's review of your results.
• You can ask questions about any explanation or result, or request a human review, by contacting us at customerservice@insyghthealth.com.
• You can choose not to use the AI-powered features and still receive your results and your physician review.

SMS marketing policy

This section applies specifically to SMS marketing and does not replace our general Privacy Policy.

Collection of phone numbers

We collect your phone number only when you voluntarily provide it, such as during transactions, inquiries, or when signing up for promotional messages. You can opt in during your initial interaction with our website, through a pop-up, or by checking an SMS consent box on a form.

Use of phone numbers for SMS

Your phone number may be used to send personalized services, updates, and promotional offers. These may include appointment reminders, service updates, and special discounts. Standard SMS carrier charges may apply.

Opting out of marketing messages

You may opt out of receiving SMS marketing messages at any time by texting STOP or texting UNSUBSCRIBE. Please allow up to 10 business days for the opt-out process to take effect.

Privacy of phone numbers

After opting out, your phone number will not be sold or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes. Limited sharing with subcontractors for support services, such as customer service, may occur.

Access to promotions and discounts

Opting into SMS is not required to access promotions or discounts, which may also be available directly on our website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be posted on our website.

Do we use cookies?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your web browser (if you allow it) that enable the site's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. They help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may also use trusted third-party services that track this information on our behalf.

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies through your browser settings. Since each browser is a little different, look at your browser's Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, some features that make your site experience more efficient may be disabled and may not function properly.

Third-party disclosure

We do not sell or trade your Personally Identifiable Information, and we do not transfer it to outside parties for a new purpose unless you first opt in. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of others.

Third-party links

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Google

Google's advertising requirements can be summed up by Google's Advertising Principles, which are put in place to provide a positive experience for users. We have not enabled Google AdSense on our site, but we may do so in the future.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use insyghthealth.com. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how you reached our site, and general device and location information.

We have enabled Google Analytics Advertising Features, including remarketing and Google Signals. This lets Google use this information, together with information from the Google accounts of users who have allowed it, to show Insyght Health ads on other websites and to give us aggregated reports about our audience's demographics and interests. First-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as Google advertising cookies) are used together for these purposes.

We also use the Meta Pixel, which uses cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) and similar technologies, to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and to show ads to people who have visited our site. Our pages are set up to tell Meta when a page is viewed, when someone clicks through to checkout, and when someone submits the baseline check; Meta may limit which of these events it accepts.

We do not send your baseline check answers or result, form entries, lab results, or other health information to Google or Meta. They do receive the addresses and titles of the pages you view on our site, which can include pages about specific biomarkers.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, manage ad personalization in Google's Ad Settings and your Facebook ad preferences, or block cookies in your browser settings. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)

CalOPPA requires commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy stating exactly which information is being collected and those individuals or companies with whom it is being shared. In accordance with CalOPPA, we agree to the following:

• You may visit our site anonymously.
• Our Privacy Policy link includes the word "Privacy" and can be easily found on the page specified above.
• You will be notified of any Privacy Policy changes on our Privacy Policy page.

How does our site handle Do Not Track signals?

We honor Do Not Track signals, and we do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place.

COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act)

We do not specifically market to, or knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of 13.

Fair Information Practices

Should a data breach occur, we will notify you by email within 7 business days. We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle, which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law, including recourse to courts or government agencies to investigate or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.

CAN-SPAM Act

We collect your email address in order to send information, respond to inquiries, and address other requests or questions. To be in accordance with CAN-SPAM, we agree to the following:

• Not to use false or misleading subjects or email addresses.
• To identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.
• To include the physical address of our business or site headquarters.
• To monitor third-party email marketing services for compliance, if one is used.
• To honor opt-out and unsubscribe requests quickly.
• To allow you to unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of each email.

If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, follow the instructions at the bottom of each email and we will promptly remove you from all correspondence.
